Description
Rasgulla is a popular syrupy dessert from Eastern India Odisha, made from soft, spongy balls of chhena (fresh cheese curd) that are cooked in a light sugar syrup. The dumplings are made from milk solids, kneaded, rolled into balls, and then simmered in a sugar syrup until they absorb the sweetness and become light and spongy.
